Welcome and what’s this about?
Saturday, November 11th, 2006This is my reflective journey about the use of webcams in the classroom, as part of the Geographical Association’s Webcam development group. For more details of the group, see ‘About’.My aim is to focus on use of web-based live streaming cameras, I’ll leave the hi-tech to others, identifying useful webcams, developing both specific and generic teaching strategies, as well as evaluating the potential issues and pitfalls when using webcams in the classroom. For further information, see ‘Action Plan’.
I won’t be religiously updating, as I mean it to be a platform for organising my thoughts and ideas, but do feel free to post comments and ideas. I suggest using the email subscriptions or RSS feeds.
